Student Google Login

Roster-only sign-in for active level-2 students whose Google email is configured in Users. Students do not grant Drive access; Drive remains teacher/admin managed.

One managed district domain per line or comma-separated (primary and secondary domains are supported). A Google Workspace administrator may need to trust/allow the OAuth app. Consumer Gmail domains and wildcards are not allowed. Roster matching uses the student's primary sign-in address, not an alias.

When enabled, students can edit and save their story ideas even after submission (normally locked once submitted)

🧠 Turn on AI Assignment Workspace TRAINING
When enabled, a brain icon (🧠) appears in the Assignment Workspace to auto-generate training content — angle & purpose, research notes, sources, scripts, and video production plans — based on the assignment story. Only visible to School Admin (level 6) users. Ideal for teacher onboarding and training demos.
Enable Scripting Tutor
Lets students choose a script template and complete it through guided prompts for anchor names, package names, supers, reader copy, verified quotes, and other template fields. The tutor provides writing guidance but requires students to verify facts and quotations.
🎓 Training Guide — Minimum Access Level TRAINING
Set the minimum security level required to see the Student Training Guide in the sidebar. Default is Level 3 (Teachers). Lower the level to grant earlier access to students; raise it to restrict to senior staff only.
🎓 Enable Student Practice Mode TRAINING
When enabled, students (level 1–2) log in with level 5 access so they can explore the full platform during training sessions. Their real permission level is preserved in the database and restores automatically when this toggle is turned off.
